EVA CONFERENCE 2026
Holy spirit living
february 13-15, 2026 | HAMPTON, VA
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Join us for an incredible weekend away with InterVarsity students from across Virginia as we explore the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. How does God equip us to live boldly and faithfully in today’s world? Together we’ll walk through Acts 1–4 to discover the Spirit who fills us with courage, unity, and witness.
SPEAKER
andrew givens
Andrew Givens serves as the Associate Regional Director of New England InterVarsity. He first got involved in InterVarsity at his alma mater, Old Dominion University, going from member --> small group leader -- > large group coordinator. After graduating, he came on staff and was trained at Duke's InterVarsity Asian American Chapter for a year. Afterward, he was sent to re-plant the UNCW chapter in Wilmington, North Carolina, where he served for 5 years, seeing God do things similar to the things in Acts. After getting engaged to his now wife, he moved to Boston and served as the Area Director for 9 years before stepping into his current role this past summer. He is married to Kaitlin Ho Givens and is a father to two young boys, Kai and Jaden. In his free time, he loves to laugh with his wife, play trains with his boys, cook, and work out.
saturday morning workshops
Holy Spirit and Witness
Discover how the Holy Spirit empowers ordinary people to share the good news of Jesus with boldness. Together, we’ll look at how God uses our words and actions to point others to Him. This workshop will equip you with practical ways to live as a witness on campus.
The Trinity 101
When we rightly understand our relationship with a triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), we can then experience joy in worship and in mission. In this workshop, we’ll look at how we worship and serve God must reflect who God is– the Triune God of grace– and what he has done and is doing for us in Christ and by the Holy Spirit.
You’ll walk away with a deeper sense of God’s love and invitation into His life.
Spiritual Gifts
The Holy Spirit equips every believer with unique gifts to build up the Church and bless the world. In this workshop, you’ll learn what the Bible says about spiritual gifts and how they show up in real life. Come ready to discover and grow in the gifts God has given you.
