richmond justice program

Virginia InterVarsity’s Richmond Justice Program equips college students to pursue a lifestyle of justice that comes from the values of Jesus.

“RJP was a transformative program. It changed how I defined justice and how I view community. - JMU student

“At RJP, I learned that my passion for social justice did not have to be separate from my faith. By looking at scripture, I saw how it is an integral part of the Christian faith and how God calls us to radically pursue it. RJP transformed the why behind pursuing justice for me and grew my idea of God’s character.” -William & Mary student

“When I walked into this program, I didn't want to talk about justice issues, racism specifically, partly because I felt uneducated. Leaving this program, I have not only learned how to have a conversation about these things, but that I have a seat at the table even if all I should be doing is listening there.” -George Mason student

“Coming to RJP really opened my eyes to people. That everybody is learning and that change doesn't have an age limit. I also learned that God really does care A LOT about the poor and destitute. This really drew me to God and now how I operate is totally different.” -UVA student
